White Dove release ceremonies create a memorable moment for countless special occasions. Below are some of the more popular events, but our ceremonies are certianly not limited to them.

Weddings

Weddings are ideal for a white dove release because White Doves represent peace, love, fidelity, and new beginnings. They also mate for life, so it is very fitting to have them at your wedding! Doves may be released on the steps of the church or from the reception. If you choose, a beautiful cage of doves may be on display at the reception or in the church foyer where the guests sign in.

Funerals and Memorials

How wonderful to remember a loved one and see a lone dove fly into the heavens, symbolizing the departing spirit. What a special way to say “good-bye” with hope and remembrance. A loved one can set the bird free by tossing it into the air -- and letting it go. One or two doves can be on display inside the chapel or at the graveside before the release in a beautifully decorated cage, with prior arrangement and permission, of course. We organize the placement and handling of all the doves together with your Funeral Director, so there is absolutely nothing for you to worry about at the ceremony.
